Gunvor Saltvik has a BA(hons)Photography & Media Art from University Collage for the Creative Arts, UK, (2002-2005). Before her BA, she studied psychology and social anthropology at the university in Bergen, Norway. This background has had a great influence at her work as a photographer. Gunvor Saltviks work has been exhibited by galleries in London, Stavanger, Oslo and Haugesund and she has received scholarship from Norsk Fotografisk Fond and Karmøy kommune.

After her graduation in 2005, Gunvor Saltvik started to work as an art- and freelance photographer. Portraits, architecture, interior, band, landscape is some of what she do. She works continually with her own projects, one of these are "In every moments end, there is a new beginning". This is a series of narrative photographs that interpreters human relations in society today.
